A shiny, scurrying beetle? Great photo!
Thanks, he does enjoy shiny beetles but unfortunately we only find them very rarely.
A frog?
I wish, I love frogs.
Hopefully nothing that will startle him enough to drop that slab on his fingers! What a lovely keepsake photo.
He has yet to try that particular trick, and fortunately the dirt below has quite a lot of give in it at the moment.
